Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC)

Air Force

Undergraduate full-time students may enroll in the Air Force ROTC Program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY. This program qualifies students for commissions as officers in the U.S. Air Force. Scholarships are awarded to high school seniors and first- and second-year Air Force ROTC students who qualify. Students taking USAF courses at Rensselaer complete a cross-registration form.

Army

Undergraduate full-time students may enroll in the Army ROTC Program at Siena College. Classes are taught at Siena College, Loudonville, NY and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY (RPI Army ROTC). This program qualifies students for commissions as officers in the U.S. Army. Students enrolled in the Nursing program are of particular interest. Scholarships are available to first- and second-year students who meet qualification requirements. Students taking MILS courses at Siena or USAR courses at Rensselaer complete a cross-registration form.

Navy

Undergraduate full-time students in the B.S. in Nursing program, may enroll in the Navy ROTC Program (NROTC) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY. After four years of participation in the program, Russell Sage students will receive commission as regular officers into the Navy Nurse Corps.
