Quantitative Analysis Minor


Requirements for Minor in Quantitative Analysis

MAT 201 Calculus I : 4 Credits

Select one Statistics course: 4 Credits
MAT 220 Applied Statistics : 4 Credits
PSY 207 Statistics with Computer Applications : 4 Credits

Select one of the following: 3-4 Credits
MAT 202 Calculus II : 4 Credits
MAT 320 Applied Statistics II : 3 Credits

Select one Mathematics Programming or Computer Science Programming Course: 1-3 Credits
MAT 204 Mathematical Programming in Maple : 1 Credit
CSI-225 Assembler Language and Computer Organization: 3 Credits
CSI 226 Object Oriented Design : 3 Credits
CSI 227 Object Oriented Programming : 3 Credits
CSI-261 VB.NET: 3 Credits
CSI-326 Data Accounts: 3 Credits

Select two additional Mathematics course at 200-level or above: 6 Credits

Total Credits Required for Minor: 18-21 Credits

 


Minor Policy

Minors may be declared any time before the completion of the drop/add period in the first term of the senior year or before completion of 87 credit hours, whichever comes later.

Successful completion of at least a one course in the minor is a prerequisite to such declaration.

Only two of the required minor courses may also count toward major or another minor’s requirements.  A minimum of half the required credits for the minor must be completed at Sage.

GPA in Minor required (minimum): 2.200 or higher
