This course is designed to give the student a comprehensive look at the field of marketing. The course adopts a managerial focus as it covers topics such as the marketing concept, segmenting, targeting, positioning, and how the effective manager uses the marketing mix (product, price, place and promotion) to gain and hold the customers. 3 credits.
