ARH 320 - History of Graphic Design

This course is a survey of the history of graphic design.  It traces the development of the tools of communication for the inception of writing through to present times, with an emphasis on 19th through 21st century design.  The course also covers the impact of social, political and cultural changes on visual communication. 3. credits. Prerequisite(s): ARH-205 and ARH-206. Advising Note: SCA Liberal Arts course.
