Environmental Studies (B.A.)

The BA in Environmental Studies is an interdisciplinary program shared by the Department of Biology and the Department of History, Law, & Government. The program provides opportunities for students to explore the science, governmental policies, and economics surrounding environmental issues. The program culminates with a capstone experience or internship in the final year of study.

Degree Requirements


Biology Courses: 23-27 Credits


General Education Requirements not fulfilled by major requirements: 24-27 Credits


Humanities/Arts (may include cross-cultural requirement) : 12 Credits


Cross-Cultural Course: 0-3 Credits


Electives: 20-27 Credits


Total credits required for degree: 120


Note(s)


If the Language Requirement is satisfied through proficiency or waived, then an additional 6 credits of other humanities must be taken.
